Brooklyn, NY's the Brought Low formed in 1999 and features singer/guitarist Benjamin Howard Smith, bassist Dean Rispler, and drummer Nick Heller. The trio debuted in 2001 with a self-titled album on Tee Pee Records and theirs is a vintage '70s hard rock sound, rich in both American and British influences.
